Ice Storm of 2011

So also this week we had an ice storm sweep through West Michigan that left a mess with no electricity, but also very pretty when the sun finally came out :) I had both days off because the office that i work at was out of power for 2 days. So, i had the wonderful oportunity to go out and get a few of those breath taking scenes. Yes, the pictures are very natural beauty, but i am ready for the beauty of summer :)

Meet Leda!

This is my new niece Leda! She was born on Febuary 20th :)

Then this is famous little Lars that is a big brother now :) Check out that hair........I think that he is going to be starting a new trend here :)

Chris and I have the wonderful news to announce that we have a new niece Leda :) She is precious and we are so excited to see her grow up. While we were up at the hospital visiting baby Leda, we got the chance also to see her older brother being introduce to this new joy in his life. I would have to say Lars' reaction to her was very cute. He gave her the look of "i am not so sure about this" :) I am so excited to be an aunt again!! You will probably see a lot of these two in the up coming months :)

New Flash!

I recently got a new flash and am super excited about it!! So I thought I would play around with my new flash with my puppies. They are always happy to sit pretty for me. The pictures above are being tested to the fulles because I took them in pretty much a completly dark room!! I love it!! I am so excited to take some sessions with my new flash :0)

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! Today is a great day to tell people how much you care about them and to do something nice to show them how much you care. I know some of you think that this holiday is just another reason to waste money. What other day of the year is based on showing love to the people you care about?

I am so greatful for my awesome husband! He is one of a kind! I love so much how dedicated he is to making me happy and being very family oriented. Then on top of all of that he is one of the hardest workers that i have ever met. He is one of my biggest encouragers to follow my dream of being a photographer. I am sooo thankful for him!
