New Flash!

I recently got a new flash and am super excited about it!! So I thought I would play around with my new flash with my puppies. They are always happy to sit pretty for me. The pictures above are being tested to the fulles because I took them in pretty much a completly dark room!! I love it!! I am so excited to take some sessions with my new flash :0)

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! Today is a great day to tell people how much you care about them and to do something nice to show them how much you care. I know some of you think that this holiday is just another reason to waste money. What other day of the year is based on showing love to the people you care about?

I am so greatful for my awesome husband! He is one of a kind! I love so much how dedicated he is to making me happy and being very family oriented. Then on top of all of that he is one of the hardest workers that i have ever met. He is one of my biggest encouragers to follow my dream of being a photographer. I am sooo thankful for him!

Jess and Adam asked me to take a few photos of them for their parents/ family. I think they are a really cute couple and i love how they make eachother laugh soo much. I have become really close of these two and love how they both are so down to earth and love the simple things in life. Thanks for letting me take the photo's guys, and love you both :)

I had a great oppurtunity to take some photo's this past week for some friends of Chris and mine. Tim has been of Chris' since high school and has gone off to Iraq to fight for country for a year, and his wife asked me to take some photo's so he can have them over there with him. I really hope they enjoy them and they have such a sweet little girl :)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I hope that everyone is having great holidays :) This year of 2011 is going to be great! I am going to take the next little while to up date you on my life and where i stand. Chris and I have been Married now for almost a 1 1/2 years and we are really enjoying marriage. We are in the process of having our house built and if all goes well we will be in our new house by august. We are so excited to start a new adventure of owning a home that we are not planning on moving out of anytime soon. We can turn this into our masterpiece, and if you know me at all you know what that means for me :) Pictures !!! We are also very excited to be able to start hosting parties and cook outs :)

For Hohler Photography the new year brings in ideas and new products :) Just to name a few : new mini sessions, new photo books, Christmas cards, and many many more. Stay posted on the blog here and we will give you further info and discounts :) And now for the most exciting news .......we are going to be starting our studio up in my basement with an official place to take photos :)

Trip To Florida :)

it was crappy weather, but for this guy it wasn't because of all the wind he was able to go out an wind surf on the water.

This is where we stayed/ where my dad lives. Very nice location and we get to see beautiful sunrises :)

I know i could not believe it either those are manatee's that i got a picture of......The reason why they were so close to shore was because it was a really cold day in florida and they need warmer water to survive. I was so excited. We sat and watched them for about two hours :) Kind of stinkers to get pictures of though :) in the picture above i blew up on my computer and it looks like it is two of them kissing :) Love it!!!

It was a great weekend to get away from everything and enjoy sometime with my parents and my husband. I am really thankful for all that i am given :) Didn't do anything really awesome but just hung out and spent good family time :)
